We’re building our citation generator to be best on the web. Cite.com was founded on the idea that you should be able to quickly and easily create the various citations in your bibliography – for free.

How Cite.com Works

In a word: simplicity. Students are constantly writing essays and term papers for school and we’re providing the best tool to help them cite their sources properly. Forget decade old interfaces and paying for the format you need – Cite.com eliminates these problems. Our site will even work on your phone or tablet if you need to touch up your document on the go.

Our Story

We looked at the different citation generators online and found each one to be lacking in areas we considered key. So we decided to do something about it and created Cite.com. Our first goal was simplicity. Struggling to navigate around a website is unacceptable, so we built ours so you’re never lost. Our second goal was to make it practical. Citations automatically get added to your bibliography, so you can create as many bibliographies as you need and you can download in the format you need. Finally, and best of all, we’re doing this for free.
